Important chandelier in chiseled and gilded bronze and bronze painted blue oven called "  In terms  from a model attributed to François Rémond.
 Indeed, an error common to the majority of professionals and auction houses, including the most prestigious, is repeated with regard to the attribution of this model of chandelier to the bronzier Pierre Gouthière. The fauns attached are The specificity of the chandelier delivered by François Rémond to the Count of Artois in 1783 at the Palace of Versailles. Another was also delivered to the Château de Chantilly for the Salon des Dames, illustrated and detailed in the book by Anne Forrray-Carlier, the furniture of the Château de Chantilly p166-167, Faton editions. It is now kept at the Musée Nissim de Camondo in Paris, illustrated in the book by Sylvie Legrand-Rossi, Le Mobilier du Musee Nissim de Camondo, p23, Faton editions.
 Rémond renewed this model with variations.
 Composed of six sconces in foliage scrolls held by fauns with a body finished in acanthus leaf. Rosettes, tors, beaded binets applied with garlands.
 Its center takes the form of a blue baluster vase with twisted fluting, roughened with gilt bronze asparagus. Its lower part is decorated with a rosette of foliage ending in a pine cone. Its top is topped with a large ring set with an interlacing of flowers from which springs a flame.
 
 Very good state of conservation.
 Period mid-nineteenth century.
