Rare and elegant wine cooler in mahogany and mahogany veneer rimmed with brass. Opening the large ovoid tray reveals a removable zinc basin, with a central space surrounded by ten compartments.
Brass handle, the four feet in fluted sheath, finished with brass shoes resting on small wheels.

This beautiful large cooler, because of its shape, was usually called "drum".

Good condition, with some scratches and small cracks.

Work from the beginning of the 19th century, probably English.

As with all of my art objects and furniture, I am very careful to be able to offer them to you at a very low expert estimate.

This cooler is photographed in daylight. So you can enjoy it as it really is.
